November 9 — Guard Your Heart
Verse: Proverbs 4:23
“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”
What we allow into our hearts eventually influences our thoughts, attitudes, and decisions.
Bitterness, jealousy, pride, and unforgiveness can quietly take root when left unchecked.
Guarding your heart does not mean closing yourself off from people. It means being intentional about what shapes your inner life.
Spend time in God's Word, examine your motives, and surrender unhealthy attitudes before they grow deeper.
A heart surrendered to God becomes a place where His truth can produce lasting change.
Prayer:
Father, help me guard my heart against anything that draws me away from You. Remove bitterness, pride, and unhealthy desires. Fill my heart with Your truth, peace, and love. In Jesus' name, Amen.
