Revelation 3:21 — Sharing Christ’s Victory
“The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.”
Jesus does not merely save us from defeat; He invites us into His victory. To conquer here does not mean achieving worldly success — it means remaining faithful. The believer conquers by continuing to trust Christ through temptation, discouragement, and delay. Faithfulness is heaven’s definition of victory.
A woman once prayed for years for a situation in her family that did not change quickly. Outwardly it looked like nothing was happening, yet inwardly she refused bitterness and chose forgiveness. One day reconciliation finally came, but the true victory had happened long before — she had overcome resentment. God’s throne is promised not to the impressive but to the persevering.
Prayer
Jesus, help me remain faithful when life feels difficult and answers seem delayed. Strengthen my heart so I do not give up, grow bitter, or lose hope. Let me overcome through Your strength and share in Your victory. Amen.
