. Colossians 2:15 — Christ’s Victory
“He disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in him.”
The cross was not defeat; it was victory. What looked like weakness became triumph. Through His death and resurrection, Christ broke the power of sin, guilt, and accusation. Many believers still live as though they are fighting for victory, but this verse says we live from victory.
Imagine a courtroom where the charges against a person are suddenly dismissed. The accuser has no case left. In the same way, the enemy’s accusations lose authority because Christ has already paid the penalty. Fear, condemnation, and shame no longer hold rightful power over a believer’s life.
We do not stand in our strength but in His finished work.
Prayer
Jesus, thank You for Your victory over sin and every power that accuses me. Help me live in freedom and confidence, not in fear or guilt. Remind me daily that You have already overcome. Amen.
