And you have been filled in him, who is the head of all rule and authority. Colossians 2:10
Many believers live with a constant feeling of insufficiency: not holy enough, not confident enough, not strong enough. But Paul says something radical — in Christ, you are already filled. Not improving toward fullness. Not slowly becoming accepted. Already complete in Him.
Imagine someone searching desperately for Wi-Fi while standing next to the router. That is how we often live spiritually — striving for worth, approval, or identity while Christ Himself dwells within us. When we believe we are incomplete, we chase validation from people. When we understand we are complete in Christ, comparison loses its power.
A young musician once feared criticism so much he nearly quit. Later he realized his value was not in applause but in belonging to Christ. The music didn’t change much, but his peace did. The moment he stopped performing for acceptance, he began serving from acceptance.
Prayer
Jesus, remind me that I am complete in You. Remove the feeling that I must earn acceptance or seek validation from people. Help me live from the security of belonging to You. Let Your presence fill my insecurity, Your authority calm my fears, and Your love silence my need for approval. Teach me to walk each day confident not in myself but in You who lives in me. Amen.
