“No temptation has seized you except what is common to man… God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear.” — 1 Corinthians 10:13
Temptation can often feel isolating, as though we are alone in the struggle. But Paul begins by reminding believers that temptation is part of the common human experience. Others have faced similar challenges, and God understands the pressures of the human heart.
The encouraging promise in this verse is not that temptation will never come, but that God remains faithful in the midst of it. He sees the moment of pressure and ensures that it never becomes greater than what His grace can help you endure.
Often the “way out” that God provides is subtle. It may be a reminder of truth, a moment of conviction, the presence of a wise friend, or simply the inner strength to choose differently. God quietly places doors of escape within reach.
Temptation does not define your future. With God’s help, it can become a moment where faith grows stronger.
Today, remember that God stands with you even in your struggles. His faithfulness is greater than any moment of weakness.

Lord, strengthen me when I face temptation. Help me see the way out You provide and give me courage to follow it. Amen.
