Rest for the Soul
Matthew 11:28
“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
There are times when life feels heavy, not always in visible ways, but within the heart and mind. This verse is an invitation—not to strive harder, but to come as we are.
God offers rest that goes deeper than physical relief. It is a settling of the soul, where burdens are lifted and peace takes their place.
Like laying down a weight you’ve carried too long, His presence brings ease and renewal.
Prayer
Lord, I come to You with everything I carry. Give me rest and renew my heart with Your peace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The Bible teaches us something completely different: God gives power to the faint. He increases strength for those who have none left. That means you don’t have to pretend to be strong. You don’t have to hide your fatigue. You don’t have to force yourself through the storm. God’s strength does not come after you prove yourself. It comes when you admit you are tired. This verse is written for those who feel faint, forgotten, or worn down by life God specializes in strengthening those who know they are weak. Weariness is not a disqualification—it is an invitation. When your strength runs out, God’s strength begins. He does not shame weakness; He meets it with power. Today, receive His strength. You don’t have to do this on your own. Prayer: Lord, I receive Your strength today. Renew my power as I trust You. Amen.
