New Every Morning
Lamentations 3:22–23
“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”
This verse reminds us that every morning begins not with our strength, but with God’s mercy. We are still standing today not because life has been easy, but because His love has carried us through what could have broken us.
God’s compassion does not get exhausted by our weakness. Human patience may wear thin, but His mercy arrives fresh each day. Yesterday’s failures do not cancel today’s grace. Each sunrise quietly declares that His faithfulness has reported again for duty.
A person may sleep carrying worries, regrets, or unanswered questions, yet morning still arrives with new light. In the same way, God does not hand us recycled mercy—He gives fresh mercy suited for the new day.
Prayer
Lord, thank You that Your mercy meets me again today. Thank You that I am not consumed by what I faced yesterday. Let me live this day with gratitude, peace, and confidence in Your faithfulness. In Jesus’ name, Amen. ✨?
