2 Timothy 3:16 — The Living Word
“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.”
Scripture is not merely information; it is God speaking. Sometimes the Bible comforts, sometimes it corrects, sometimes it exposes attitudes we didn’t notice. Many people want encouragement but avoid correction, yet both are signs of God’s care. A loving guide not only encourages the traveler but also redirects him when he takes the wrong road.
A person once read a passage about forgiveness and realized he had held bitterness for years. No sermon addressed him directly, yet the Word spoke clearly. He released resentment and experienced peace he had not known before. The Bible did not simply inform him — it transformed him.
Prayer
Lord, open my heart to Your Word. Teach me, correct me, and guide me through Scripture. Let Your truth shape my life and lead me into righteousness. Amen.
