November 8 — The Courage to Stand Firm
Verse: Daniel 3:18
“But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods.”
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego refused to compromise their faith, even when obedience came at a great cost.
Their confidence was not based on knowing how God would rescue them. It was rooted in knowing that He was worthy of their faithfulness.
Sometimes, standing for what is right means being different from those around us.
Faith is not only demonstrated when God answers the way we expect. It is also revealed when we remain obedient despite uncertainty.
True conviction stands firm even when circumstances challenge it.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, strengthen my faith and give me courage to stand for what is right. Help me remain faithful when obedience is difficult and trust You regardless of the outcome. In Jesus' name, Amen.
