November 21 — Faith That Takes Action
Verse: James 2:17
“Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.”
Faith is more than agreeing with biblical truths. Genuine faith influences the way we live.
It is easy to speak about love while ignoring someone in need, or to speak about obedience while refusing to surrender our own desires.
James reminds us that living faith produces visible evidence through our actions.
We are not saved by good works, but a life transformed by God's grace should increasingly reflect His character.
Let your faith be seen not only in what you believe, but also in how you live.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, help me live out the faith I profess. Give me a heart that responds with obedience, compassion, and love. May my actions reflect the transforming work of Your grace. In Jesus' name, Amen.
