November 17 — Small Beginnings Matter
Verse: Zechariah 4:10
“Who dares despise the day of small things?”
We often celebrate big achievements while overlooking the value of small beginnings.
But God frequently works through ordinary people, simple acts of obedience, and seemingly insignificant opportunities.
A small step of faith, a quiet act of service, or a consistent habit of prayer may not appear impressive.
Yet spiritual growth often begins with small choices repeated faithfully.
Do not despise where God has placed you simply because it seems insignificant. What matters is not how impressive your beginning looks, but whether you remain faithful.
Prayer:
Father, help me value the small responsibilities and opportunities You have given me. Teach me to be patient with growth and faithful in every season. May I never overlook the importance of simple obedience. In Jesus' name, Amen.
