November 11 — The Danger of Comparison
Verse: Galatians 6:4
“Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else.”
Comparison can quietly steal our joy and make us dissatisfied with what God has entrusted to us.
We may compare our achievements, relationships, appearances, or progress with those around us.
But God has given each person different responsibilities, abilities, and opportunities.
Someone else's success does not diminish the value of your journey.
Instead of measuring your life against others, focus on being faithful with what God has placed in your hands.
Prayer:
Father, free my heart from unhealthy comparison. Help me celebrate others without becoming dissatisfied with my own life. Teach me to recognize Your goodness and remain faithful to the path You have given me. In Jesus' name, Amen.
