November 10 — The One Who Came Back
Verse: Luke 17:15
“One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice.”
Ten lepers were healed by Jesus, but only one returned to give thanks.
It is easy to seek God when we need something and forget to express gratitude after receiving it.
Sometimes, we become so focused on our next prayer request that we overlook the prayers God has already answered.
Gratitude shifts our attention from what is missing to what God has faithfully provided.
Do not allow the blessings you once prayed for to become things you now take for granted.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, forgive me for the times I have overlooked Your goodness. Give me a grateful heart that remembers Your faithfulness and recognizes Your blessings in everyday life. In Jesus' name, Amen.
