October 26 — Protect Unity Without Avoiding Truth
Verse: Ephesians 4:2–3
“Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.”
Healthy relationships require both patience and honesty.
Unity does not mean pretending everything is fine.
It means addressing problems in a way that protects the relationship rather than destroying it.
Humility asks:
Could I be misunderstanding something?
Patience asks:
Can I give this person room to grow?
Love asks:
How can we deal with this honestly and respectfully?
Some conflict is not evidence that a relationship is failing.
Sometimes conflict reveals whether two people know how to repair.
Learn to repair well.
Healthy relationships are not conflict-free. They are places where conflict can be handled with maturity.
Prayer:
Father, help me become a person who protects unity without avoiding difficult conversations. Give me humility, patience, and wisdom in every relationship.
