October 22 — Do Not Let Fear Become Your Guide
Verse: 2 Timothy 1:7
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
Fear will often speak loudly.
“What if you fail?”
“What if you regret this?”
“What if you lose this person?”
“What if nothing works out?”
But volume does not equal truth.
God has given you the ability to think clearly.
To love wisely.
To act courageously.
You do not need to wait until you feel zero fear before moving forward.
Courage often means obeying God while fear is still whispering.
Ask yourself today:
If fear were not making this decision, what would wisdom say?
Fear can have a voice without having the final vote.
Prayer:
Father, give me a sound mind. Help me recognize when fear is shaping my choices. Fill me with courage, love, wisdom, and self-control so I can move according to Your leading.
