October 19 — Bring God the Fear Beneath the Fear
Verse: Psalm 34:4
“I sought the Lord, and He answered me; He delivered me from all my fears.”
Sometimes your biggest fear is hiding underneath another fear.
You may fear making the wrong decision because beneath it is a fear of regret.
You may fear losing someone because beneath it is a fear of being alone.
You may fear career uncertainty because beneath it is a fear of instability.
Ask yourself:
What am I actually afraid of?
Then bring that deeper fear to God.
He already knows it.
Naming fear does not give it power.
It helps you surrender it.
Fear loses some of its control when it is brought into God's presence.
Prayer:
Father, You know every fear in me, including the ones I struggle to admit. Meet me there. Remind me that whatever happens, You will remain with me and give me what I need.
