October 7 — Let God Renew Your Thinking
Verse: Romans 12:2
“Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
Not every thought deserves to be believed.
Some thoughts come from fear.
Some come from past experiences.
Some come from cultural expectations.
Some come from insecurity.
And some come from patterns you have repeated so often that they feel like truth.
God wants to transform not only what you do, but how you think.
Ask yourself today:
Is this thought producing faith or fear?
Is it consistent with God's character?
Am I assuming something without evidence?
Am I reacting from an old wound instead of the present situation?
A renewed mind learns to pause before accepting every thought as truth.
Let God reshape your thinking.
You do not have to remain mentally trapped in patterns God is trying to heal.
Prayer:
Father, renew my mind. Expose every belief in me that does not align with Your truth. Teach me to think with wisdom, discernment, grace, and faith.
