October 3 — Ask God for Wisdom
Verse: James 1:5
“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault.”
You do not have to know everything.
You do not have to make every decision perfectly.
You do not have to carry the pressure of figuring your entire life out by yourself.
God welcomes your questions.
When you are unsure about someone, ask Him for wisdom.
When you are uncertain about your career, ask Him.
When you cannot tell whether something is fear or discernment, ask Him.
When you do not know whether to wait, move, speak, or stay silent, ask Him.
Wisdom is not merely knowing more.
It is seeing a situation from God’s perspective.
And sometimes His wisdom will confirm what you already sensed.
Other times, it will challenge you.
Pray with an open heart:
Lord, don't just confirm what I want. Show me what is true.
Prayer:
Father, I need Your wisdom. Help me see clearly and not be ruled by emotions, pressure, fear, or impatience. Give me discernment in every decision I face and make my heart willing to follow Your answer.
