October 11 — Be Still Enough to Hear
Verse: Psalm 46:10
“Be still, and know that I am God.”
Life can become very noisy.
Advice.
Opinions.
Expectations.
Notifications.
Your own thoughts.
Sometimes you keep searching for another answer because silence feels uncomfortable.
But stillness creates space.
Space to notice what you are actually feeling.
Space to recognize what God has already been showing you.
Space to separate genuine conviction from pressure.
You do not always need more information.
Sometimes you need quiet.
Sit with God today without trying to solve anything.
You may discover that peace itself gives clarity.
You don't have to fill every silence with an answer.
Prayer:
Father, quiet my heart. Help me become still before You without feeling the need to solve everything immediately. Teach me to recognize Your voice and rest in Your presence.
