October 10 — Focus on What God Values
Verse: Micah 6:8
“Act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”
It is easy to become focused on appearances.
How successful you look.
How spiritual you sound.
How others perceive your decisions.
But God consistently brings attention back to the heart.
Are you acting with integrity?
Are you showing mercy?
Are you walking humbly?
A life that honours God is not built mainly through dramatic moments.
It is built through everyday character.
How you treat people when nobody important is watching.
How you respond when you are offended.
Whether you tell the truth when dishonesty would be easier.
Whether you can admit when you are wrong.
God cares deeply about who you are becoming.
Character matters more than image.
Prayer:
Father, shape my character. Make me someone who loves truth, mercy, humility, and integrity. Help me care more about pleasing You than maintaining an image before people.
