October 1 — Begin the Month Rooted in God
Verse: Jeremiah 17:7–8
“Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him.”
A new month can make you think about everything you want to change.
Your plans.
Your relationships.
Your career.
Your future.
Yourself.
But before you focus on what needs to change around you, God invites you to become rooted in Him.
A tree does not survive difficult seasons because the weather is always good.
It survives because its roots go deep.
Your stability cannot come from people behaving the way you hope.
It cannot come from having every decision figured out.
It cannot come from knowing exactly what your future looks like.
Your security comes from knowing where you are rooted.
Begin October with this confidence:
My circumstances may change, but my foundation does not.
Prayer:
Father, as I begin this new month, help me stay deeply rooted in You. Let my confidence come from Your character rather than my circumstances. Lead me through October with wisdom, peace, and a heart that trusts You.
