Exodus 15:26
God reveals a powerful name here—“I am the Lord who heals you.” Before He heals, He introduces Himself. Healing flows from relationship, not formula. God does not want to be known only as the One who fixes problems, but as the One who walks with His people.
In real life, many illnesses—physical, emotional, or spiritual—begin with neglect. Ignored stress becomes exhaustion. Unforgiveness becomes bitterness. Silence becomes distance. God’s instructions are not restrictions; they are protection. He asks His people to listen carefully because listening keeps us aligned with life.
Think of warning lights in a car. Ignoring them does not make the problem disappear—it makes it worse. God’s voice works the same way. Obedience often prevents wounds that later require healing.
Jehovah Rapha does not only heal what is broken; He teaches how to stay whole. His healing is not temporary relief but restored balance.
Reflection:
Is God gently warning you about something you’ve been ignoring?
Prayer:
Jehovah Rapha, help me listen carefully to Your voice. Heal what is wounded and guide me in Your ways so I may walk in wholeness. Amen.
