Isaiah 53:4–5
Healing came at a cost. Jesus did not heal from a distance—He entered human pain fully. Every wound He carried spoke of God’s compassion for suffering humanity.
In everyday life, scars tell stories. A healed wound no longer hurts, but it reminds us of what was endured. Jesus’ wounds speak of love that absorbed pain instead of avoiding it. At the cross, pain was not ignored—it was redeemed.
Many believers struggle not because healing is unavailable, but because they feel unworthy of it. Guilt whispers, “You deserve this.” Grace answers, “It is finished.”
Healing flows when we stop striving and start receiving. Jesus bore our pain so we would not have to carry it alone.
Reflection:
Are you still carrying guilt or shame that Jesus already carried for you?
Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for bearing my pain and my burden. I receive Your healing—body, mind, and heart. Amen.
