Hebrews 13:5–6 is a timeless anchor for those facing uncertainty or loneliness.
Hebrews 13:5–6 — “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you. So we can say with confidence: The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?”
There are moments when the silence of life feels louder than God’s voice. Bills pile up, friends fade away, health wavers—and you wonder, “Lord, are You still here?”
But this verse reminds us: His presence is not seasonal—it’s eternal.
Think of a shadow that never leaves you. Whether you walk through sunshine or storm, it follows. That’s how near God is—always beside you, even when you can’t feel Him.
A young soldier once said before battle, “I’m not afraid anymore—not because the fight is small, but because I know who walks with me.”
That is the confidence of this verse: The Lord is my helper.
Not a distant God, but a present one—right there in the hospital room, in the meeting, in the midnight hour.
“You may feel alone, but you are never abandoned.”
Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your promise that You will never leave nor forsake me. When fear whispers that I’m alone, let Your presence remind me that I’m held and helped by You. Strengthen my confidence in Your constant love. Amen.
