You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am. Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.” – John 13:13-14

Jesus, though the Lord of all, humbled Himself to serve His disciples by washing their feet. This act reminds us that true leadership in God’s kingdom is marked by humility and service. When we honor Jesus as our Teacher and Lord, we are also called to follow His example by serving others selflessly, even in ways that may seem small or ordinary. Every act of love and service reflects Christ to the world.


Take a moment today to serve someone quietly and humbly, not for recognition, but to honor Christ. In doing so, you live out the heart of Jesus—leading through love, humility, and care.
