“The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; forsake not the works of Your own hands.” Psalm 138:8

When life feels uncertain and plans seem unfinished, this verse whispers peace: God is not done with you yet.
He is both the Creator and the Completer. What He begins, He perfects — not in haste, but with holy precision.
Sometimes we look at our lives and only see fragments — half-built dreams, unanswered prayers, unresolved struggles. But heaven sees the full design. You are the work of His hands, and He does not abandon His craftsmanship midway.

Think of a sculptor shaping marble. The hammer and chisel may feel harsh, but every strike reveals beauty. In the same way, God’s mercy carves away fear and doubt until His reflection appears in you.
So, when anxiety whispers, “You’re not enough,” remember — the Artist hasn’t finished His masterpiece yet. His mercy ensures that every detail will be completed in time. Psalm 138:8 is a verse of divine assurance, reminding us that God never abandons what He begins.

“If He started it in love, He will finish it in glory.”
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for never giving up on the work of Your hands. Perfect every area of my life that concerns You. Let Your mercy continue to shape me until I reflect Your beauty and purpose. Amen.
