“Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?” — Isaiah 43:19
Before God gives the new, He often asks us to let go of the old. He’s already at work, planting tomorrow’s blessings in today’s obedience. The best way to enter the new year is with open hands and a willing heart. A gardener clears the soil before sowing seeds; God is clearing space in your life for His new growth.
Sometimes the clearing feels like loss, but it’s preparation. Don’t mourn what God removes—make room for what He’s about to release. Every pruning is proof of His intention to make you fruitful.
Prayer:
Lord, prepare my heart for what You’re about to do. Help me welcome Your new beginnings with faith, not fear. Amen.
