Psalm 138:3 – “When I called, you answered me; you greatly emboldened me. As soon as I pray, you answer me; you encourage me by giving me strength.”
There are moments when you pray not because you’re strong, but because you’re running out of strength. You whisper a prayer in your car, in a hospital waiting room, or in the quiet of a sleepless night — and somehow, even before the situation changes, you change.
That’s what David experienced. He didn’t say God removed the problem immediately — he said God gave him courage and strength. Sometimes the answer to your prayer isn’t an open door; it’s a stronger heart.
Imagine a phone call from a loved one when you’re having a rough day. Their words don’t fix everything, but they lift you — because connection brings courage. Prayer works the same way. The moment you call, Heaven answers — often not with thunder, but with peace.
“God may not always change the situation right away, but He will always strengthen the soul that prays.”
Prayer: Lord, thank You for hearing me every time I call. When I feel weak or weary, fill me with Your strength and boldness. Let Your presence be the answer that revives my heart. Amen.
