Malachi 4:2
God describes healing here as something that rises, not rushes. Like the sun, healing may feel slow—but it is steady and unstoppable. Darkness does not argue with dawn; it simply fades.
Many people expect healing to be dramatic and instant. But God often heals through time, process, and gentle restoration. Emotional wounds, long-term illness, and deep trauma rarely disappear overnight. Yet God’s healing still works faithfully.
Picture a person recovering from burnout. Rest comes first, then clarity, then strength. Healing unfolds in stages. God does not shame us for slowness; He honors endurance.
The promise also speaks of renewed joy—“leaping like calves from the stall.” God’s healing restores movement, freedom, and hope.
Reflection:
Are you trusting God’s healing even when progress feels slow?
Prayer:
Lord, let Your healing rise over my life like the sun. Renew my strength and restore my joy in Your perfect time. Amen.
