John 14:6
Jesus spoke these words on the night before His crucifixion. The disciples were anxious, confused, and afraid of what lay ahead. They wanted clarity. Jesus offered Himself. He did not give a roadmap; He gave a relationship.
In today’s world, confusion is common. We seek answers through advice, podcasts, books, and opinions. Yet clarity often remains elusive. Many people want Jesus to help them find the way, but Jesus says something far more demanding—and comforting: “I am the way.”
A traveler once described being lost in a foreign city where every person gave different directions. Finally, one local said, “Follow me. I’m going there.” Confusion ended the moment relationship began. That is what Jesus offers—not directions from a distance, but companionship on the road.
Truth, according to Jesus, is not an argument to be won but a life to be lived. Life, according to Jesus, is not success or comfort but connection with the Father. When Jesus becomes the way, the truth, and the life, decisions may not always be easy—but they become anchored.
Many struggle because they seek answers before seeking presence. But when you walk closely with Jesus, the way unfolds step by step.
Reflection:
Are you asking Jesus to guide you—or are you allowing Him to lead you?
Prayer:
Jesus, I choose You—not just for answers, but for direction. Walk with me today and teach me to trust Your leading. Amen.
