“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” — Exodus 14:14
Between what was and what will be, there’s often a waiting season. God calls us to peace in that pause. Stillness doesn’t mean doing nothing—it means trusting completely. When we let Him take over the battle, He leads us through the Red-Sea moments of life. A child once slept soundly in a rocking boat during a storm. When asked why he wasn’t afraid, he said, “My father is steering.” That’s faith—resting while God rows.
Waiting is one of God’s greatest classrooms. In silence He grows roots of faith that storms cannot uproot. We often want the destination, but He values the transformation. Your unanswered prayer may not be a denial—it could be preparation. Let the stillness become your sanctuary where God’s whispers are clearer than the world’s noise.
Prayer:
Father, calm my heart when I can’t see the way forward. Teach me to rest in Your control and find peace in Your presence. Amen.
