October 15 — Invite God Into Your Blind Spots
Verse: Psalm 139:23–24
“Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.”
It is easy to notice what other people need to change.
It is harder to ask God:
“What about me?”
What am I missing?
Where am I being stubborn?
Where is fear influencing me?
Where am I protecting my ego?
Where am I assuming my perspective is automatically correct?
This prayer requires courage because God may reveal something uncomfortable.
But conviction is not rejection.
It is an invitation to grow.
God exposes what needs changing because He loves you too much to leave you trapped in it.
Pray honestly today:
Lord, show me anything in me that is keeping me from becoming who You're calling me to be.
Prayer:
Father, search my heart. Reveal my blind spots and help me respond with humility rather than defensiveness. Correct me gently and lead me in Your way.
