October 29 — Choose Kindness and Truth Together
Verse: Proverbs 3:3–4
“Let love and faithfulness never leave you.”
Kindness without truth can become avoidance.
Truth without kindness can become cruelty.
God calls you toward both.
Be honest without humiliating people.
Be loving without hiding necessary truth.
Be faithful when emotions change.
Be kind even when you need boundaries.
This balance takes maturity.
And it often requires slowing down before responding.
Ask God today:
How can I be both truthful and loving here?
You don't have to sacrifice kindness to be honest or sacrifice honesty to be kind.
Prayer:
Father, let love and faithfulness shape how I live. Teach me to communicate truth with kindness and to show kindness without compromising what is right.
