October 28 — Hold On to Hope
Verse: Hebrews 10:23
“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful.”
Hope is not pretending you know exactly what will happen.
Biblical hope rests in who God is.
You may not know whether a particular opportunity will work out.
You may not know exactly where you will live.
You may not know how a relationship will unfold.
But you know something more important.
God is faithful.
His faithfulness does not depend on your circumstances unfolding perfectly.
Even when plans change, He remains constant.
You can release your grip on a specific outcome without releasing your hope.
My hope is not that everything will happen exactly as I expect. My hope is that God will remain faithful whatever happens.
Prayer:
Father, strengthen my hope. When circumstances are uncertain, anchor me in Your faithfulness. Help me trust You more than I trust any particular outcome.
