November 25 — The Courage to Be Different
Verse: Romans 12:2
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
Following Jesus sometimes requires making choices that differ from the expectations of the world around us.
Not every popular opinion reflects God's truth, and not every accepted behaviour honours Him.
It can be tempting to compromise our convictions simply to fit in or gain approval.
But Scripture calls us to allow God's Word to renew our thinking and shape our decisions.
Being different is not about considering ourselves better than others. It is about choosing to reflect Christ in the way we live.
Prayer:
Lord, give me courage to stand firm in Your truth. Help me resist unhealthy influences and renew my mind through Your Word. May my choices reflect Your will rather than the pressure to conform. In Jesus' name, Amen.
