November 23 — The Joy of Serving
Verse: Mark 10:45
“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve.”
Jesus demonstrated greatness through humility and service.
Although He possessed all authority, He willingly cared for those around Him and placed the needs of others before His own comfort.
In a world that often values recognition and status, serving others can seem insignificant.
But in God's kingdom, service is an expression of love.
Whether through encouragement, generosity, or practical help, every sincere act of service can reflect the heart of Christ.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, give me a servant's heart. Help me notice the needs of others and respond with genuine love. Remove selfish ambition and teach me to serve with humility and joy. In Jesus' name, Amen.
