Dear Beloved Members of Zindagi Forever Church,
In a world filled with customs, traditions, and societal pressures, it can be easy to lose sight of what it truly means to live a holy life as followers of Christ. As believers in Zindagi Forever Church, we are called to a higher standard, one that is not bound by the norms of this world but rather liberated by the grace and truth of our Lord Jesus Christ.
In the multilingual and multicultural community of Zindagi Forever Church, located in Surrey, BC, Canada, we embrace the diversity of our backgrounds and languages—Hindi, Punjabi, English, Urdu, and Fiji. But beyond our cultural differences, we are united by our shared commitment to live as disciples of Christ, dedicated to doing His will and living lives that are pleasing to God.
Living a holy life is not about conforming to external standards or following religious rituals. Instead, it is about being transformed from within, allowing the love and grace of Jesus to shape our thoughts, words, and actions. It is about being set free from the bondage of sin and walking in the freedom that Christ has secured for us on the cross.
As the apostle Paul wrote in Galatians 5:1, “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” This freedom that we have in Christ is not a license to indulge in worldly pleasures or sinful desires. Rather, it is an invitation to live in obedience to God’s Word, empowered by the Holy Spirit to live lives that honor and glorify Him.
To live a holy life means to be separate from the ways of the world—to reject the values of this world that are contrary to the teachings of Jesus. As Jesus Himself prayed for His disciples in John 17:16, “They are not of the world, even as I am not of it.” We are called to be in the world but not of the world, to be salt and light in a dark and decaying world, reflecting the love and truth of Christ in everything we do.
Living a holy life is a journey—one that requires daily surrender and dependence on God’s grace. It involves seeking His will in prayer, studying His Word, and allowing the Holy Spirit to guide and transform us from the inside out. It means loving God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and loving our neighbors as ourselves.
As members of Zindagi Forever Church, let us commit ourselves afresh to living holy lives, free from the bondage of sin and the expectations of this world. Let us embrace the freedom that Christ has won for us and walk in obedience to His will, knowing that in Him, we find true joy, peace, and fulfillment.
May our lives be a testimony to the transforming power of God’s love, drawing others into a relationship with Him. And may we continually strive to be disciples of Christ, living lives that bring glory and honor to His name.
